How's everyone doing? Because WeiTing & I had volunteered to represent 4B in a inter-class competition on photography, we travelled down to Chinatown today (together with Howie) to capture the festive spirit of Chinese New Year :D

We reached there in the evening & the crowd was already forming itself up. Throw me into the sea of people with the ones I love, I can guarantee that I wouldn't mind at all :D

WeiTing & I realised that because of our tall nature, we would need someone who is taller to help snap certain views. So with much appreciated help from How, we sucessfully got photos which are extremely 'thumbs-up" :D

Kudos to Howie for introducing us mighty tasty congee over at Chinatown :D Though we waited quite some time before we were served, it was very much worth the wait.

We've taken the effort to go all the way down to Chinatown to take photos, the rest is in the judges' hands + the write-up. Here are some photos :D

CCA orientation today. Speaker malfunctioned halfway through our sequence for fancy foot drill & music didn't even turn up for the PDS group. Thankfully Mr Lee offered us another slot between the BB/GB & SJAB to perform with music. Overall, it was really okay, I'm glad we pulled it through. It would be the last orientation for WeiTing, Rachel, Yohana & me. & I really hope to reach our quota :) All the way, NP!

Met up with the pillars of my life today. How & YeeHui. Caught them after NP at Tampines first. YeeHui was actually attempting Math questions. & Howie was coaching her, he really looked like a tutor.

Took a train down to White Sands afterwards cos' Tampines' Popular ran out of stock of SS textbooks. Even with the painstaking effort to go over to Pasir Ris, it was out of stock there too. I guess I'll just try Simei tomorrow.

Had dinner with them & had a whale of a time laughing at their antics. YeeHui's full of overrated stuff while we play along. Its so good to be around them.

Okay, I sincerely hope everyone's having a fine time tuning back to the school cycle & departed from holiday mode. But lolz, I think everyone is pretty much forced to detach from the "I-Have-Nothing-To-Do" period. Life is crazy now, events & homeworks are starting to engulf me like waves. Ballet, school, NP, ballet, school, tuition, NP. Life is pretty much a regular cycle, but we learn to live with it.

Nonetheless, I am caught in a whirlpool of emotions :D :( :P :@ :) :\ D: >:(

I had coaching class today so I rushed down to Tampines Mall after school. Nope, time does not entitle me to stop & breathe.

I was at the brink of tears on the way home today on the bus talking to Reina (眼泪快要渗出来).

Miss Shyamala dropped the bomb today, some blabbermouth must have opened her trap & told Miss Shyamala about our plans after Grade 8 but then again, it doesn't matter since I've got to tell her what are my plans eventually.

Only ChenNing & I were present so she questioned us about what's gonna happen after we finish Grade 8. I told her I would like to join SBA & ChenNing asked if she's about to open Advance class. I reckon Miss Shyamala would have heard about our plans by now.

In the midst of stretching, Miss Shyamala said something that thugged my heart, painfully. I swear I could almost cry.

"So I'm not good enough, is it?"

"No, its not that, don't get me wrong."

"Then why do you want to leave?"

"I want to experience a new environment, & more opportunities."

"Okay."

Nope, she didn't sound anywhere near convincing & that was when I realised that it was actually disappointment she was feeling. I couldn't concentrate anymore on my stretching after that but I put in my best in my performance the rest of the lesson.

If I haven't met Miss Shyamala, who would have moulded me into who I am now? If it wasn't for her, how else would I know there is actually more than just the small class we attend every week? How else would I even know there was such a thing as ballet?

I am going to work extra extra hard for the sake of Miss Shyamala in my next exam & subsequently for my other exams, just so she knows that she played a major part in my dance life :D

I am so sorry.

"2 Pretty"

I felt so demoralised on the first lesson of HCL. I think Sun Laoshi was trying her mighty best to motivate us to work hard but I guess it was backfiring more than it actually helping. She sounded so intimidating I almost stood up & walked right outta class but I'm glad WeiTing distracted me very much by doodling. She made learning such a burden all of a sudden. Especially HCL which is probably one of the "cannot-make-it" subjects for me. I must learn to manipulate whatever negatively sounding words from her mouth to something useful & inspiring from tomorrow onwards.

The wait for recess everyday seems kinda unbearable, I'm thinking of restocking food under my table just so to keep me awake during lessons. But here's something good, I haven't dozed of in any of the lessons since the start of this year yet :D

Met YeeHui & How after school today cos' I am not involved in PDS. I was really late, cos' Mr Tan was going on & on about class committee even after the bell rang. Ate Macs with YeeHui at Bugis. Learnt that she's actually the goody-two-shoe amongst the bad & the bad amongst the goody-two-shoes. She is very happy, & I should learn from her.

Walked around Bugis Street & got myself a budget dress I really like a lot :) I haven't done much CNY shopping at all. We took some photos + neoprints, here they go :D

I got this bad premonition that my blog's not gonna be as frequently updated as how it used to be cos' firstly, I am deprived, very deprived of things to post. I do not want to just rattle on & on about school cos' its such a bore.

With very much determination, I completed my 《飞鱼在天》in two days & I shall just pray ultra hard that I'll at least pass tomorrow's CT :D Thank you very much WeiTing, for narrating the entire 《红楼梦》out for me, even to the nitty gritty details. I luv you to bits :D

I luv catching up with the girls + Bryan & How. There's always so much gaiety with them. I'm so glad coaching & normal classes have resumed :) Cheese.

Hectic week ahead, orientation on Friday, orientation rehearsal on Wednesday.

Nope, no particular reason for this sudden abberation with my blogskin. I reckon its just one of my impromptu mode acting up again, I just want to let acknowledge this new year with a change in my blogskin. Going back to basic, using the default template & editing it a wee bit. Everything's gonna go another full circle. Start this new year from scratch & live it to the fullest :)

Nothing particularly shocking nor interesting happened yet :\ So let's just wait. The year's about to unfold itself :D The blog header's from a shirt Howie saw, & so it inspired me & I hope it does to all not so tall people :D

Ballet tomorrow, term holiday's finally ended. Meeting the Nutcrackers tomorrow for dinner. Only those habitating in the East.

This is amazing, I was expecting first day of school to be already demanding but yay, I am still spared & have some time to post. Today was practically a "Getting To Know You, Getting To Know All About You" day. Basically, besides the fact that we already know each other in class, we got to know who our respective subject teachers are. I am proud to announce that 4B's got a hopeful/bright future ahead, we're blessed with experienced teacher for almost all subjects, let's make the best outta it :)

HEYPEE MOO YEAR EVERYONE :)

Year 2009 shall bring us lots of fond memories, even more than what 2008 had given us :D Resolutions made shall all be accomplished this year. ALL THE BEST EVERYONE. Have a splendid year ahead.

Yesterday was the first New Year's Eve spent with friends. Best of all, Nutcracker friends. Though not all made it but then again, it was truckloads of fun :)

YeeHui, Reina, Vivien, Winny :D

Met How first at Eunos & headed down to CityHall. Settled down at Mos Burger to get a drink. How's introduced me to the milk tea there. Great stuff. Yeehui joined us after that. Walked around Raffles City & travelled down to Plaza Sing after that.

Plaza Sing enriches me with fond memories of Nutcracker a lot. I can still remember before every rehearsal I have to travel down to the MRT to meet Reina & Janelle, go all the way to Dhoby Ghaut, grab a snack (Chippy) & rush down to Fort Canning. It was crazy but time spent there enjoyable.

Shopped Cotton On, I heard that the Century Square one's finally open! WeiTing, Howie & I cheer in glee! We caught the three hours long movie, Australia. I swear Nicole Kidman is the world's most stunning lady after my mum. She's mesmerizing.

Great movie, well-written plot. Luv it to bits :D & because the movie has so much to do with cattles & cows, I am sure Australia is a good movie to gives us a head start in the Moo Year!

Headed down to CityHall after the movie. Sat by Singapore River just outside Esplanade. Because we were there at 6+, we got the best view ever. Yeehui, Winny, Howie & I sat there, eating, playing, talking, trying out magic, while Bryan & Reina enjoyed their couple world.

The firework display was spectacular. The fireworks practically bloomed infront of our faces, making my heart pop every now & then. I think Howie has the footage. Hopefully he's nice enough to upload it.

The crowd afterwhich was unbearable. But I liked it. I love the atmosphere, the festive spirit! Everyone's so jolly & high. Squeezing through the crowd's another great experience obtained. How often do you see wild people dashing into the MRT even before the door's open.

What a special start to a special year ahead. I'm really looking forward.

In the month of January, I'm gonna go for three different open houses. NgeeAnn Poly, Laselle, as well as NAFA.

I have already made my resolutions. I do not have the habit of doing so every year but I'm gonna start this year. Start it off & start it right :) School tomorrow, I wonder what's it like. I can't wait to see the freshies.
