HAPPY HALLOWEEN PEOPLE,

though I have simply nothing to celebrate about :D While others are enjoying their lengthy vacation, I'm slammed by school, lessons, periods, bell rings, "Good morning, 3B", "Go to Summer Lab", digging my books out from my poorly oriented cardboard box & Nutcracker rehearsals. You know seriously, I'll pay anybody who offers to pack my box for me. Even Miss Khoo finds it unbearable. Not that I don't enjoy the above mentioned, I love them all :D

However, school's more relaxed now, everyone (including teachers) are all already indulged in the holiday mood. If there's no CCA after school, time will be just spent loitering around malls, catching movies, eating my heart out. Haven't been taking photos lately, since I haven't been to anywhere nice in particular, unless you feel school is breathtaking.

Hell yeah, we're all in this together!

Got my movie tickets for High School Musical 3 a few days ago & watched it with WeiTing & Yinsoon. I've always mistaken High School Musical for some child's play until I caught HSM 2 on Channel 5 last Sunday. It was enthralling. Their catchy sounds make you wanna groove with them. I specifically fancy one of the trackes in HSM 3, which goes like, "The boys are back!".

Nutcracker rehearsal yesterday. You guys can actually start purchasing your tickets in all sistic outlets if you all want to. I'm pretty sure that I'll be performing on the first, last & second last show. If I'm not wrong. Pamphlets with more details are out on the racks already. Kiasu me, took to lead yesterday to grab as much as possible so that I can distribute today. Janelle & Reina looked at me in disbelief. Rehearsals piling up as we draw nearer to the actual day. Twice a week, longer hours, further location.

PDS today. My first time doing the entire sequence & everything. Felt like a noobshit, like I seriously need some improving. Its just so hard to recall what comes next. Very unlike dance. It doesnt go with the flow!

Today's the last time we're spending our Emath period with Chewy. We can easily count down the number of weeks before William's gonna leave too. The clock's ticking too fast, really. Nothing can buy back whatever time we've spent together. Let's just make more memories happen.

Chewy said to me the other day at Sakura, that if she'd known that she can't promote with us earlier, she would have spoken to people that she hasn't really spoken to through this entire year. That rang a bell, & that we should stop taking who we have in class for granted. There's a stipulated moment whereby friends will part someday, its just a matter of how long it takes. Its what keeps the friendship burning despite distance that takes it all.

Completed Chewy's powerpoint slides while talking to Chewy online. Ripped her of all her favourite stars & tried to reminisce whatever funny antics I can collect out of my impression of her. WeiTing did William's powerpoint. Finally presented it to them today.

William is a guy and from that I can tell that its almost simple for him to obliterate all emotions at that point of time, looking at the slides. When it was Chewy's turn, she was so touched she cried.

Hoy people :D I just finished watching High School Musical II on Channel 5. Now I know, why girls are going ga-ga over Zac Effron. He's so cute. Who wants to watch High School Musical III? Count me in :D

Btw, ballet t-shirt design's out already. Got hold of it from Miss Shyamala. She meticulously illustrated out our design, which was really sweet of her. Going off to find an economical company to print the shirts :D Guys, I'm so excited.

Isn't Miss Shyamala artistic? The ballerinas pose to make the letters "DANCE". She made me feel really bad today for missing classes. We've concluded that she can join the "Suan" Lake. Not Swan Lake, cos' she loves to spite us :D

Feed me wads of cash please, I'm broke. Fish is on her way to my house for some movie marathon :D Love her to bits, never fail to keep me company! I strongly dislike the feeling of having no cash in my pocket. I can only be a recluse & hibernate at home. Mum & Dad's out. Both to run their errands.

My stomach hurts & I can't stop hiccuping. My throat's itching like madness, my eyes are burning. So I'm here once again to pledge the happenings of today, way toooooo happening.

Spent my entire afternoon engaged in some in depth reading of the new book I borrowed from the library after being left totally breathless reading the previous one - It was way too draggy. At leat the former is far cooler & upbeat. I love indulging in words. They keep me company.

Left home at about 4.30pm to meet WeiTing at Tampines to get William & Chewy something for their farewell. We bought William a really adorable card which everyone penned on it later on, & Chewy a bee with three yellow strips on its body to symbolise 3B. This is it, 3B's gonna have 3 bananas missing from next year onwards (Including Shuhao who had already left for Canada). What's with the declining population & growth of bananas? But let's give each other a promise, that the 2 leaving bananas will forever join us for any outings. 3B 2008 will forever be 3B 2008.

Met the rest of the class at Pasir Ris MRT. Rung everyone to check attendance & coincidentally, both main characters (Will & Chewy) reached the latest. Met the other half of the fleet at Downtown East Sakura.

This is, by far, one of the most sucessful & receptive outing, since more than half the class was present. Total of 23 people turned up which left the bill to about $584.40 or so, if my brain hasn't failed me. Collecting money was a chore & returning the change was even worse. But nonetheless I must comment on the food. It was heavenly. I love the sashimi. I kept pinching them out of my platter & into my mouth until I could feel the urge to puke once I detect the taste. The food was savoury, thinking about the cash I've deposited into Sakura's earnings.

23 Bananas!

Girls!

After Sakura, which was around 9pm, we trudged down to Pasir Ris Park. Boy, it was dark. We all decided (but some, relunctantly) to take a stroll down the mangrove boardwalk to the other side so that it was nearer to the beach. The path was entirely pitch dark cos' there wasn't any lamppost or whatsoever. But I must thank technology, for they created handphones with torch :D So, carefully we ambled down the boardwalk & emerged at another side of Pasir Ris Park only to let mosquitoes (falsetto voice here) feed on us.

Trespassed into the renovating maze in the park. Got bitten on the foot by some unknown bug. Ben went berserk. He walked a totally different route & didn't wanna pick Clement's phone up when we were leaving. Until now, I have no news of him. Haha. Took the mangrove path back to light when I finally left for home.

School's Not Out!

Today's supposedly the last day of school but yeah, we're gonna continue on with curriculum till the 3rd week of November. Nonetheless we did everything we had to denote the closure of school for a long weekend. Spring cleaning in class today, WeiTing & I had a strenous time scrubbing the whiteboard free from the thick layer of dust, ink, & what not. As we have a really righteous form-teacher, she insisted that every single square metre of the room is clean, threatening us with our result slips. Thanks Hosy for the really spacious box for me to put my books after clearing my locker. I have so many books the box's overflowing!

Got back my overall results. I reached my target of L1R5 below 15. 13 to be exact. Improved a lot since MYEs. That gives me enough reason to continue to work hard for the upcoming exams & ultimately O's. Within top 10 in class, recklessly.

Its really speedy, how this year's gonna end just like that. Though I don't really feel myself entering my peak year of being a Secondary 4, I'm gonna miss so many people in my life. 3B's now left with 33 bananas. Initially 36. I've recklessly intruded into Secondary 4, now the pressure's on us!

Changi Airport with WeiTing, Chewy, YinSoon, Chewy, Choonsiang, Victor & Lewis. The last time we went there to savour Popeyes, our main agenda was to study but now, we're there to party & chill. After lunch everyone switched off to their sleepy mode while Chewy & I went bonkers around Changi Airport.

Chewy: March Of The Penguins!

Thanks Chewy. I know I walk with my feet facing outwards but you don't have to say that! Haha, but I seriously love her company cos' she's so lovable. The flock of us settled down at the viewing gallery in T2 & started a series of really lame games. Eg: Concentration. Okeh but it was extremely entertaining with the people around. I was dared to ask a RGS girl whether she needed help in her Chinese assignment. Obviously she was found dumbstrucked but she was really sporty to reject me, thanks. Chewy was dared to run around a couple & to act tired whilst doing so. Spot on man. ChoonSiang had to remove his shoes infront of several other & use it as a handphone. Lewis gave some passerby a high five.

We had a fun time flinging my stressball. Chewy bought me a cup of Caramel Frapuccino. After which headed back to Tampines. WeiTing, Chewy & I bought three Crocs from Minitoons along with the tabs. They are really adorable! Mine's yellow, Chewy's black & WeiTing's red.

Comments on my report card:
Vivien exudes a maturity unlike most of her peers. Polite & respectful with a cheerful dispostion (smiley face), she actively participates in class activities & inter-class competitions. A dedicated pupil (awe-strucked), she conscientiously makes effort for better academic attainment. In her position as the Class Cleanliness & National Education Ambassador (guys, laugh out loud now), she has displayed much resourcefulness, responsibility & initiative.

I would greatly appreciate it if she did not mention about my post in class. Its freaking disturbing. Lol. I love Mother Earth :)

To all that told me to link you guys, I've already done so :D Thanks for tagging, btw. Watched 4 movies in two whole days. I had too much time to waste, now that exams are down & totally over! Watched "Sky Of Love" which I can honestly exclaim that by now, it should already be an oldie & since I've always been the lagger, I only watched it on Monday, which happened to be a very generous holiday given to us so that teachers can decide whether they wish to promote us. That Japanese movie serious made me bawl my eyeballs out, whipping tissue after tissue out of the box. Thanks Chewy, for that fantabulous DVD :D Its so touching, you guys much watch it!

Sky Of Love :D

Went out to Tampines to meet WeiTing, Lixuan, Lowe, XinLong & Victor after that to catch "Max Payne". It felt like a movie promoting "Red Bull" since everything was about wings. Lolz, can just say I'm too shallow to understand such a great movie. I was busy eating rather than watching, to be honest. But nonetheless, I enjoyed the movie more than the one I caught the next day.

After school on Tuesday, WeiTing, William, Lewis & I caught "Eagle Eye". A super action-packed movie which left me absolutely clueless. I guess it didn't catch WeiTing's attention since she dozed off when the movie went into its climax. Totally lol. But I must say, the effects left me sitting at the edge of my seat.

Got home after that to watch "Mamma Mia" with my Brother. I love musicals. It keeps me singing at the top of my lungs. I really appreciate Dad for buying the Abba collection. I simply love their songs :D Makes me grooooove! Being really unappreciative, Brother couldn't stop laughing his dentures out.

Inter-Area Project-Based Competition + Survival Training Camp.

Hi to all, I'm back from my 3D2N Survival Training Camp at Pulau Ubin. More about that later. Friday marked the end of Inter-Area competition. I'm really gonna miss my favourite team mates that made this experience such a memorable one. Though we didn't get top three but we made it to the Finals, which was Area 10's inaugural success competition. Now that we've got the experience, we're gonna impart whatever knowledge we've gained to our juniors, so they'll win us back the top three places in two years time :)

Here are some pictures of the rehearsal. We're a bunch of punctual people, we reached HTA, which was inconveniently located at the other part of the island, on time :) Thanks for the effort people. Though we were only given insufficient time, we managed to make good use of it. I love you guys man!

Okay, so on the actual day I was shivering before going up on stage cos' I realise I'm gonna make my presentation impromptu therefore not preparing any script. I did my part to present & even Miss Fadhzilla saw through me, that I was downright nervous. But I did my best, & I'm sure Team Arbeit did their best :D Though our logbook didnt not outshine the rest, our performance did. & that was good enough :D Here are some photos on the actual day :D

Okay, now for some Survival Training Camp action. So, no more pictures since we were obliged to surrender our phones to prevent any networking happening in the event of the camp. Gonna just talk through this last part.

Missed the tent-pitching section since Team Arbeit managed to reach camp around late 8pm. (Did I mention we got to eat at Changi Village before heading camp!) We were praying feverishly to be in the same group but of course, the organisers won't be that nice. I was designated to be in group 3, no budge. I loved my group, seriously. Mostly people I know, eg: WeiJian, Rowena & Aishah. By the time we arrived they were already having group debriefing so I got to know that my group CI was Eric Sir (Yes or No?) Hahhaa.

I slept in tent 5. I'm grateful to have Raudhah with me, less a loner. Haha, day two approached shortly with minimal amount of sleep, thanks to the incessant mosquitoes buzzing around my ears. I don't rmbr such annoyance last year. Maybe I was too tired then. Three cycles on third day. Only managed to complete 2 out of 3.

Cycle 1 - Firestarting
Sir Fahmi took over Sir Eric as he was off to kayak with Sec 2s. Sir Fahmi took us deep into the dense forest for fire starting. Was briefed the three main components in order to start a fire. So we ventured off to look for our own dry materials to try start a fire. It was dumb, since it rained the previous night, & nothing was dry. Fed mosquitoes & headed to the jetty for something thrilling.

Cycle 2 - Jetty Jump
I wanna give 5 thumbs-up for this. Since it was the activity I was looking forward to the most, & that Mervyn Sir was in charge of it. Felt as if I saw my dad when I saw Sir. So heartwarming! Was the second girl to take a step off the wooden plank, plunging straight into the sea. Though its my second time going for jetty jump but I felt the thrill nonetheless. But it was fun & Sir allowed us each to go twice since we had time. I was taking my own sweet time swimming back to the ladder. Lolz. Fun!

Cycle 3 - Treasure Hunt
I wanna say this would be fun should we have the time to complete it. Started to rain shortly after we finished our first station. I didn't know there's a Secret Garden in Pulau Ubin! Fantastic place with lots of plants & trees we can barely ever find in mainland. Thanks to WeiJian & his relative, travelling around Pulau Ubin was made easier :D Hahaha.

Due to the lightning warning, we headed back to camp & started on some Sec 3 bonding time. Shared cheers & songs which we went crazy. Prepared for campfire & because our group was named Crumpler, we made bags for our fashion show. I was to model for my group's handmade haversack. Had such a crazy time being the designer I felt I was in Project Runway. Something scandalous happened during camp too. Lotsa laugh.

Campfire after that. High as ever. Pretty much the same as last year. Secondary 3s were palpably in higher morale as compared to the Sec2s. Rocked the runway with our new summer designs. Super crazy.

The next day was mainly area cleaning & prize presentation. Crumpler clinched the Best Group Award! Whoooooooohoooo! :D Our group had the least number of members, which goes to show that its the quality, not the quantity. Same for our unit, four of us, its the quality, not the quantity :) Sir Eric was a good CI :D

Left for Singapore after that. I'm too lazy to post detailed information about camp. Too much to remember. The insect bites are annoying me. Gonna see a doctor in case they leave scars D:

Team Arbeit: Nigel, Joshua, Raudhah, Farzanah, Nadhira & Vivien :D

I am really proud to be part of Team Arbeit though I'm not performing in the skit we've came up with for the finals. Nonetheless I'm really amazed by how good my team members can act :) They are really spontaneous & easy-going. They never fail to suggest really quirky ideas to make our skit a really hilarious one. I didn't video our rehearsal today since my phone ran totally out of battery, but I managed to snap a few snapshots, so here they go.

Finals on Friday. Can't wait. Leaving school early to travel down to HTA & after that, Survival Camp straight. 3D2N at Pulau Ubin. Its been long since I set foot there. I wonder how it'll go. Wishing hard that I will end up with at least one Team Arbeit member for Survival Camp :D

Got back my EOYs today. Alarming results which I thought was okay for me. Subjects I previously thought I could never score well in reaped better results than those I pinned hope to :\ Oh well, that may be a good thing. Just crossing my fingers & dying to get L1R5 less than 15. Please, please, please :D

I thank the sky above for listening to my prayers & keeping everyone safe. Please don't let anything break apart. I feel really bad now cos' I don't know how to make WeiTing feel better. I hope she's fine already. Gotta go do some touch up to my props for the finals & get some sleep. Photos up!
