Pouring rain, never ending.

30th August 2008
10.07pm

A blow with a word strikes deeper than a blow with a sword.
-Robert Burton

I think it was on Monday, Mr 55.5kg (Javan) told me that the weather's been rather crazy. It has been raining everyday & it was the 7th day on Monday. Not that the rain's continuos but its been on & off & again today isnt an exception. One moment the Sun's like merciless & the other rain's peltering like cats & dogs. Then I wonder, isnt that phrase scary? Imagine dogs & cats falling from the sky, bouncing off roofs & car tops. Nehz. I shall stop taking things literally.

Out with Mum & Dad today. Once again I felt like I was the only child in the family now that Mum's pissed with Brother. Dad & I worked our necks long trying to convince Mum to open her mouth but she just refuses to talk to Brother. Nevermind, the ice will just melt when it gets too hot. Finished tuition & started off first to Singapore Expo for Timberland sales. Thought they had quite an awkward way of selling stuff. In a manner that I got bored the first moment I stepped into the hall. But John Little sale was way cool this time round with a larger variety of merchandise from relatively decent appearance. Bought a couple of items & headed of to Novena to visit Great Granny. She looked exhausted today.

Steamboat afterwhich. It's always blissful going with Mummy & Daddy since I only get to eat good food once in a blue moon. Cleared the entire sushi section when it was my turn to pick my food for the table. I love it buffet style ;D Haha. Ate like a glutton & felt like a pig. I think I've just clamped another few kilograms onto my spare tyre. Lolz.

I told Lewis a few days back to live life happily no matter how it treats us. I'm gonna stick to that manz :D I bet he'll remember that too, cos...

I KNOCKED SOME SENSE INTO HIM.

So Long, Term 3.

27th August 2008
7.35pm

Whoa, in a blink of an eye, we've arrived at the end of Term 3, welcoming the rather uncomfortable arrival of EOYs. It sucks big time, come to think of it. But what's gonna come's gotta come. So why not just look forward to it? Finishing exams would mean a hurdle knocked down. Received my CA2 results slip today. Improved by a jubilant 10 marks down my L1R5 since term 2 & 3. So, I'm more determined to strive harder next time cos' its what my mum call the final showdown. Well, not exactly. We're not taking our O's yet. All the way, people!

I've finally got time to edit & upload snapshots of Lewis' birthday! He's a smarty, scored single digit for his L1R5. I'm gonna climb up there to join him, hopefully! Haha :D

Chipmunk & my blades! (Rented)

Lewis' birthday cake! :D

Happy Birthday!

25th August 2008
9.31pm
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LEWIS!
(A.K.A China Pork)
Okay, so today's Lewis' 15th birthday! Counted down to his birthday for him together with WeiTing on the phone using the conference button. Almost reached 12mn when his mum disrupted the conversation but its okay! I guess I wished him "Happy Birthday" on the dot! Now he's part of the oldies club, where everyone's 15! :D Congratulations! You are a year older.
School's short today. With all of us anticipating for the bell to ring when Mrs Tan came in for the last two periods of Geography. Clock struck 12.30pm with Raymond (Benedict) counting down wrongly, he was two seconds slower or something. Haha. Rushed outta' school w WeiTing, John, Lewis, YinSoon, Javan, WeiLiang & Kelvin. Hopped over to Tampines Mall first to settle lunch. Birthday boy had the privilege to choose where to eat, so we ended up enjoying student meal at KFC. Allianced with John to lure Lewis over to KFC first so that WeiTing & I can settle the cake & the prezzie. Rushed to get the cake then Zinc shop. Lewis told us on the phone the night before that Zinc sucks so like we were quite reluctant to get the bag but did so anyway. Hope you'll like the bag. Lolz.

All of us took 31 down to ECP without Kelvin. He had to go first so he vanished w/o even saying goodbye. Lighted the cake when Lewis was off to change. It was like a crime scene there, with a police car driving straight into the sandy beach, interrogating people lazing there. Requested one of the policeman to help take a picture but realised he doesn't know the proper usage of a phone. Took a photo in the end with self-timer. Lewis made his three wishes, exposing the first & second but kept the third unknown to all of us. I hope whatever he wished for would come true :D Sang him a birthday song w John beatboxing at the back, side splitting. Oh did I mention, Lewis extinguished five big & one small imaginary lighted candles. (We didn't manage to light the candles up cos' of the breeeeeze.)

Learnt how to blade with John the pro & Lewis the amateur. Lolz. Hilarious cos out of the seven of us, only two knew how to blade properly. Yinsoon was beginner at it with the rest of us, clueless & taking baby steps. Javan was experimenting all sorts of stunts & it turned out that he improved way beyond us. Lolz. Fell several times. Cos' stupid Lewis pulled me too fast. Lolz. Was expecting a rest cos I was so tired from all the gliding & whisking & ended up falling in a rather unglam position. Hahaa. But no injuries accounted, cos' all the noobs were plastered with knee guards & hand guards. Haha! WeiTing broke all of our records cos' she fell seven times through the entire course of rollerblading. Its okay, cos' she knows how to stand when she falls.

Hope Lewis enjoyed his birthday! Cos' I'm sure all of us did! :D

Congratulations!

24th August 2008
9.07pm

I think I forgot to mention that yesterday after tuition, I opened my letterbox & was in extreme delight to receive a considerably thick letter from Singapore Dance Theatre. It was proud to announce that I've been selected, now confirmed. Yay. Trainings are scheduled crazily. With trainings almost every single Thursdays & practically daily basis as it draws nearer to the performance. Nutcracker to be presented on 6 nights. Please come & support! :D

Finally managed to get Intermediate music from Reina :D Thanks babe. Now I gotta burn it for ChenNing. Sync it to my iPod to provide a more convenient availability of music for me to dance whenever, wherever. Even on the bus. Lolz. Exam's in less than a month. I gotta start kicking ass & work extra hard.

The Nutcracker Ballet
The Nutcracker Ballet is based on the story "The Nutcracker and the King of Mice" written by E.T.A. Hoffman. Although what is seen on the stage today is different in detail from the original story, the basic plot remains the same; The story of a young German girl who dreams of a Nutcracker Prince and a fierce battle against a Mouse King with seven heads.
When Marius Petipa had the idea to choreograph the story into a ballet, it was actually based on a revision by Alexander Dumas, a well known French author. His version reflects more of what we have come to love as the Nutcracker Ballet.

The Party Scene
It is Christmas Eve at the Stahlbaum house -- A large and grand house with the most beautiful tree imaginable. The Stahlbaums are hosting their annual Christmas party, welcoming the arrival of their family and friends. The children, Clara and Fritz, are dancing and playing as they welcome their friends too.
The party grows festive with music and dance as godfather Drosselmeyer arrives. He is a skilled clock and toy maker and always full of surprises. Drosselmeyer draws everyone's attention as he presents two life-size dolls. They are the delight of the party, each taking a turn to dance.
The children begin to open gifts when Drosselmeyer presents his to Clara and Fritz. Although his gift to Fritz is quite nice, he gives Clara a beautiful Nutcracker that becomes the hit of the party. Fritz becomes jealous and, having a bit more spunk than a boy should have, grabs the nutcracker from Clara and promptly breaks it. Clara is heartbroken looking on as Drosselmeyer quickly repairs the Nutcracker with a handkerchief he magically draws from the air.
As the evening grows late, the guests depart and the Stahlbaum family retires for the evening. Clara, worried about her beloved Nutcracker, sneaks back to the tree to check on him, falling asleep with him in her arms.

The Fight Scene
As the clock strikes midnight strange things begin to happen. Clara begins shrinking as her beautiful Christmas tree grows high above her. The toys around the tree come to life while the room fills with an army of mice, lead by the fierce Mouse King. As the Nutcracker awakens, he leads his army of toy soldiers into battle with the mice. The Mouse King corners the Nutcracker and battles him one-on-one. The Nutcracker seems to be no match for the Mouse King.
The Nutcracker and his army can go on no longer and are captured by the mice and their King. Clara makes a final daring charge throwing her slipper at the Mouse King, hitting him square on the head. The Mouse King drops to the floor and the mice run away, carrying off their leader's lifeless body.

The Land of Snow
The Nutcracker turns into a Prince and takes Clara on a journey to the Land of Snow, an enchanted forest wonderland where they are welcomed by dancing snowflakes.

The Land of Sweets
The Prince escorts Clara to the Land of Sweets where they are greeted by the Sugar Plum Fairy. The Prince tells her about their daring battle with the army of mice and she rewards them with a celebration of dances.
The Spanish Dance
The Arabian Dance
The Russian Dance
The Chinese Dance
The Mirliton Dance
The Waltz of Flowers
As a finale, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Cavalier dance a beautiful Pas De Deux.
The Dream Ends
Clara awakens from her dream and finds herself by her Christmas tree with her beloved Nutcracker.
I love to dance & I'm so scared of ever losing this. I don't mind working for the arts school after my O's. ChenNing asked me if I wanted. I told her I needa think about it. Can't wait for my exam to be down & over. I'm gonna pray hard.

Bon Voyage, ShuHao!

23rd August 2008
11.33pm

First & foremost,
BON VOYAGE, SHUHAO!
When all of us thought we'd be feeling cold-blooded & not shedding a tear for Shuhao, we felt emotionally challenged by his departure. Though he's not exactly leaving yet but his flight is setting off early Monday morning at 1am. Maybe those who would really be missing him should send him off at the airport & camp overnight in school after that.

Met Chipmunk at 3 o'clock in Tampines Mall. The rain was crying cos of Shuhao's departure until it made everyone shiver. It was terribly cooooold in the mall. Ate LJS & studied a bit. Looked around for a suitable farewell gift for Shuhao & we chanced upon a lucky "I LOVE SINGAPORE" shirt in Giordano. Hopefully he'll love 3B too.

Shuhao, JingJie, Kevin (damn curious) & Chipmunk.

Met the rest of the guys over at the control station. No doubt, Shuhao, Kevin & Jingjie were there first. Kevin was carrying a haversack that later became a hot topic for us. Leave that later. Afterwhich, Victor joined us & we waited for Lewis, John & YinSoon. Went over to City Hall & met William & Yanjing after that.

Planned to settle down at "Jia Xiang Mian" to have a meal but later decided to packet it away & watch fireworks. So we were making a big scene at the eatery, with the waitresses shoo-ing us to "excuse me". That's the thing about a big group. We never find seats & even if we do, we won't find enough seats. So we ordered what we wanted & waited awhile outside before we went back to claim. WeiTing was skidding around the wet ground as if she was a bowling ball & we were her pins.

John started to exchange bag with Kevin's VISA bag which traps air & puffs up whenever you try to compress the air away. Lolz. Found a relatively dry area to sit on for our dinner cos' Shuhao had to leave early. "Jia Xiang Mian" all dried up cos of too much walking. The crowd was unbearable & we didn't even know there were fireworks today. Lolz. Finished eating & requested someone to help us snap a group photo.

John in brown, Yinsoon in white, Lewis in red, Keving twisting, William in black squatting, YanJing hugging his bag, Shuhao with arm on YanJing, Jingjie twisting beside Kevin, Victor above WeiTing, WeiTing in overalls, & Vivien in yellow.

My last memory of Shuhao for the rest of the days till he return will be him throwing me a rather intriguing question. "How do we get to the MRT station?" Lolz. He hugged a few classmates & when WeiTing told him that she was sorry for being so mean to him, he said that it was communication. Didn't expect myself to feel sad about this. But seeing someone bid goodbye is always painful, no matter how much this person mean to you. Shook hands with Shuhao & he told me to study hard.

Unfortunately, Shuhao left before the firework display. Which would have created a wonderful grand finale for all of us, & leave Shuhao with a much more complete memory of Singapore & all of us. The fireworks were breathtaking, & really romantic. But more of exciting with friends so everyone was yelling. John took down the entire fireworks, with wonderful background music featuring Yinsoon's "Its damn nice, can?" & my, "Walao, damn nice leh. Its so cool!" & WeiTing's, "That's damn gay!". Hahaha. Just looking @ the fireworks blasting into the musky clouds made me feel touched. It just shoots into air, bombards into tiny specks, which sometimes ignites into even tinier pops, or levitates in mid air before finally vanishing between space. First time seeing this, first time feeling touched by the fireworks. How mesmerizing!

Fought among the crowd after the display. This is how kiasu Singaporeans are. Walking in opposing direction would be as near as being trampled over. Managed to squeeze & got home safely. I hope Shuhao recognises our sincerity.

If only time will freeze then & there. Maybe I'd be encapsulated between bliss. Then, things would be different & I won't be feeling this way. If only I've reacted in another way, I won't be doubting. The fireworks really left me speechless, & shut me up too. Yeah you're right, tomorrow will be a better day :) I'm sorry.

Goodbye all, & Shuhao :) 3B's gonna miss you!

18th August 2008
5.49pm

Got back from school super early today, cos' I felt that it was only right for me to come home & study for tomorrow's Add Maths test but screw it, I lack of self discipline which explains my appearance here to write. Let me just post about school today since I've got nothing much to write about anyway :D

Start off to school earlier than usual, not that I arrive to school super late or anything. Just even earlier today. Obliged by Miss Hafizah to do up a farewell card for Yang Shu Hao, whom is gonna leave for Canada this Friday. This underscores that tomorrow will be the last PE lesson spent with him. Come to think of it, I'm feeling a tinge of sadness cos' afterall he was a part of 3B & now 3B's gonna be deprived of like, fascinating people :\ Now, that's what I call pathetic.

Today I declare that I'm gonna remember Shuhao for life if I decide to keep the set of pure white uniform I wore to school today. Trying very hard to squeeze the glass paint thing out of its tube, I pressed a wee bit too hard & everything came gushing out like tapwater. Dripped all the way to my skirt & blouse & I had to go to the toilet to wash it off which ended up making my uniform glow in an aura. Met Alvina there & she looked really pathetically at my blouse. LOL.

Went back to class to clear up the remaining, icky, gooey mess on my table when John said a really loud "Wahlao" that made me feel like, TONS better. Nevermind, I'm gonna make sure I make my cash claims from Victor. Got the class to write the board & Ah Tan started the ball rolling w a seemingly harsh goodbye message which went like:

Thanks for migrating.

Lolz. I didn't really care that much but just wanted people to write so that I can give it to Shuhao. Hope he'll take care of himself there & come back to visit us if he can. Lolz.

Special number: 25 ;D

12 Lotus

16th August 2008
11.40pm

Waiting for EZJZW to start so I'm here to post about what happened today. Kicked off with a lady luck far away from us. Let's see what happened.

  • I left my handphone at home & realised so only when I alighted from bus 81.
  • Rained super heavily so WeiTing can't leave her house.
  • 3B Night Cycling had to be cancelled.
  • Met some very disgusting person on the bus on the way home.
  • Spilled Coke in the cinema.
  • Waited darn loooong for the person in the cubicle to get out.
  • Served by rude salesperson in Yamaha.

So that's about all. Maybe there are some others but let me just fill the list up bit by bit. Okay, after tuition travelled down to Tampines by myself. Only to realise I forgot my phone. Took a cab back home & decided to fill my stomach before heading out again, since all of them were late. Lewis was waiting at my bus-stop so I had to hang up with WeiTing. Boarded bus 81 & headed to Tampines. History repeats itself on the way to Tampines but I had my phone with me.

Waited for WeiTing at bus 27 bus-stop. Finally she made her grand arrival & I proposed a fab idea to get the tickets first since it's a Saturday (but damn, the cinema was damn empty). Haha. Saw YinSoon at Tampines Mall entrance. The guys were wearing nicer than the girls. O.O

Bought four tix for 12 Lotus then went to Mos Burger to grab a bite. At 4 fried prawns. Lolz. Left the tails untouched cos' they looked really sick. Then William decided to come so WeiTing & I rushed up to buy William a seat hopefully beside us. But GV's person was so nice he changed the entire four of our seats to a five seat row so that William can be with us. It was the back most row so we had to tolerate with the ultra glowing exit sign by the door.

Shopped around Tampines, included WeiTing upgrading her popular card. Bought someone's present too. Till then he'll know. Chipmunk wanted to play with the squeeshy squooshy paint art thingy outside Popular so five very big in comparison beings conquered the entire area. Lolz. We felt so young. Lewis checked the time & it was already 6.20pm so unleashing my kiasu talent, I chionged up with Lewis to buy popcorns first. Bought three sets, which made us look really greedy. Especially Lewis. Lolz. I love the banana promo. So darn cute.

Got into the cinema & had a whale of a time laughing instead of crying in the movie with Lewis. He was so loud WeiTing could hear him two seats away. Super funny. Chipmunk didn't lose him cos' he suggested that the next time we watch movie, she should sit like faraway to prevent us from being associated with her. Cos' she's so loud. Lolz. Anyway, they made the movie more interesting than it is.

Movie lasted quite long but still, Lewis & I couldnt finish our popcorn & realised WeiTing who was sharing with William & YinSoon couldnt finish theirs too. Left for home after that on bus 81 with Lewis. Lolz, saw some irritating person. Can't believe my eyes. After that I can't believe my ears too.

I'm sorry cos of you
& I'm happy cos of another you :D

Lewis, WeiTing & Soon Soon!

Block 144

15th August 2008
9.19pm

Hello, I'm here to post about yesterday & maybe part of today cos' I stand by my point that the day's not over, TGIF. Anyway, yesterday was SS common test. Going through hell trying to endure the entire 2 periods 2 periods day. The minutes hand just seemed to have stopped moving. Nonetheless, 3B managed to perservere through it. After school, went over to Tampines Mall to have lunch with YinSoon & Lewis & Chipmunk. For once we found LJS vacant. Got seated & carried on eating. All of them accompanied me to blk 144 after that to get my black leotard. I'm really glad I've finally gotten everything I have to for exams. Its just a waste of time going to & fro everytime only to find myself leaving things out.

Since common test was over & we were not gonna have any tests the next day, the four of us decided to have a go at the playground. We felt childhood kissing us, didn't we? Haha. So smart aleck took the slide down only to find herself getting abrasions lolz. Too much friction, she says :D Walked on back to Century Square after that to indulge ourselves in bubble tea.

Chipmunk had to make a move first so it ended up w Yinsoon, Lewis & I. Very nice of them cos' they waited till my ballet's about to start before leaving. At least I don't feel so bored. Thank you very much!

Had NP today. Finally activities again since NDP's over. I'm feeling more & more attached to the Sec twos now. I think they are a really jolly bunch of people. I can't wait to let them take over. I believe they'll do a great job. Got really drugged playing Captain's Ball though I know this sounds pretty dumb.

Night cycling w the Bananas tomorrow. Hopefully many will come. Can't wait to venture at night :D Getting something for someone tomorrow. Psst, its a secret still!

Pizza Heartzxx!

13th August 2008
9.51pm

Life's so great recently. Everything's so fun & jolly. Let's start from yesterday. Initially thought that we had to collect rations from HQ after school, ended up Miss Poh wasn't informed so it was cancelled/postponed. Just nice Lewis was on the line w WeiTing so ended up travelling down to Tampines Mall w Lewis, YinSoon, Victor & WeiTing. Decided to pay tribute to John by eating Long John's but it was packed. Like w/o any visible empty seat. So being like super flexible people, we changed our target & charged straight at Pizza Hut! It was so fun I swear I can change it now to Pizza Heart. Lolz. Ordered the super worthy student meal & fed ourselves fat. Ordered 3 pizzas, 2 big ones & 1 mini-sized. Relished my kiasu power by asking for free-flow of Pepsi. Now the money's more worth it. Hahha! Made an entire concoction of Pepsi Cheese. Super gross. Shan't describe much.

Shopped around after that. Got snapped at by some NuBox person asking us to shut up. Lolz. Can't help it. We were too excited. Here are the photos to sum everything up for the day ;D

Yinsooooon!

Lewis, Victor, YinSoon, WeiTing & Vivien
(From left to right)

Emoooo kiddo.

Childish people, took this when I went to PEE.

Went out w ChenNing & Jordan on Monday. Wanted to get my leotard but apparently the shop doesn't open on Mondays. So I felt really screwed for wasting everyone's time. Sorry people :(

LeeChen ;D

On the bus w matching seats with my skirt :D

Jordan!

Oh yes, 2.4km today. Came in 40th amongst 102 people. Thanks to John & Lewis for coming down to support! :D Not forgetting the super hilarious Macs after that :D

Promo Pictures

10th August 2008
11.55pm

Tight schedule tomorrow. Off to buy leotard w ChenNing & Jordan. I'm spending a lot on ballet. Or should I say, I'm using lots of Mum's money. I'm gonna repay her when I grow up. Promo picture for the gladiators right up.

I know brother's upset about something. Maybe I should go ask him what's wrong. I really wonder why sometimes its so hard for him to confide in us, being the closest in relation to him. I suppose its becoming a habit to rely & pour his heart out to Flora each & every time he gets upset but what happens if now the problem lies between him & Flora itself? Who can he turn to? Just wanna let him know that I'll be right here to help him. I wanna give him a big bear hug.
Lolz, funky word verification:
heyjoe (Zheng Yuan Chang!) Screams.

Rock The Stage!

10th August 2008
12.15am

Hello, first & foremost,
Happy Belated Birthday, Singapore!

Got free VIP tickets to FIR World Concert yesterday. It was actually Pap's tickets but since he wanted to watch the Beijing Olympic's Grand Opening, he decided to do an act of kindness & was made obliged to hand the tickets over to me. Mum & I had a whale of a time, basically rocking on our chairs till like the entire row shook like an impeding earthquake. Faye declared her love quite blatantly, like clear water. It was sweet, unlike some mawkish drama serial we can find easily. Everyone got really like, drugged & high. A lady sitting one row infront of us stood up & swung her cardigan round & round. I was so scared she might take off. Lolz.

Fans were like screaming their lungs out, stampedes on the hollow floor. It was great, like a party. Got like the perfect view but I was so obedient to abide by the rules & regulations behind the ticket that I dismissed the thought of bringing my camera. Ended up only with poorly resoluted pictures. Here they are:

Before the concert. Check those (pinatas) planet out. Don't you feel like whacking them to get those sweets.

Screams.

Sweet.

Special guest, Xiao Jing Teng :D

I thought that billboard was damn cool.

Rockin'.

Goodbye :(

More photos actually. But I'm feeling languorous.
Palais today. Finally had a taste of the new floor there. Really well frictioned, I suppose. Had more control over the spins. Just wondering how lucky I must be to at least pass this exam. Took a few photos w Chenning, got myself a pair of gladiators, therefore, I'm a happy kid.

Laugh At This

Bonjour, guess I've been a rather irregular blogger. Life's just wild & all over the place. Frenzied, I suppose. But guess what, I finally have some free time now to like, post about something which I thought was quite hilarious. It was sidesplitting for the people enjoying this performance LIVE. Basically, John Travelta appeared in our class, it was a grand entrance, by the way. Take a look.

Starring: John Paul Goh (Botak head) & Lowe Caden Ho (Not botak head) also a little bit of Seah Shanyi (Begginning of first video)

Okay so John really looked like he was floating through a travellator. His footwork was great. Lolz. If anyone of us in 3B ever became a comedian, John would be the first one on the list, thanks to his, influencing/booming laughter.

Feeling more happy-go-lucky as time swipes past. Maybe due to the ability to adapt to diversity. Realised what Fish's blood mother said really knocked a whole load of sense into me. Let's just translate it from chinese.

"Whatever happens through life, they are just things that will eventually settle into place by themselves. So, let's just live life happily."

& So from the moment I put that down here, I'm gonna live life happily, feeling blessed that I have the opportunity to actually have a life. Just finished reading Summer Sisters. Drove me to tears with the grieving part about death. I can still vividly recall what happened during GreatGran's funeral. Direct & rude, the story grab me back to what happened. Struck me hard. But hey, I'm back again. Deaths are part & parcel life. Life comes in a package. A full one, with everything inside, things you want, things you don't want but just keeps coming. Like an irritating fly.

That reminds me. Don't get cheated by Tampines Mall's vending machine on the third floor just outside Mothercare or something. It ate like $1.30 out of me. Could have used it on donation. Stupid machine.

Something magical's about to happen this Friday. Can't wait for jamming ;D Hehehehehe.

Call Me Big Soldier

2nd August 2008
11.14pm

Hey, I'm finally back after an incredibly long day. But the day's not gonna end yet, since I've got a show to catch later at 1am :D So, if you've been reading my blog, today's the Singapore Dance Theatre Nutcracker auditions. Woke up at about 7.30am just to get myself ready for the auditions. Pulled my hair back into what I call a standard or maybe one of my neatest bun up to date, spreading a generous amount of jelly-like substance(gel) smelling awfully nice.

Met Reina at Tampines Mall Macdonald's, & Amelia & Colleen joined us after that. Had McGriddles which I felt really guilty eating. I told myself I must avoid the bulging tummy so I decided to eat McGriddles w/o egg. So, at least it was effort made. Met Chenyun after that & took the MRT over to Dhoby Ghaut.

Fort Canning was a blast cos' people were buzzing around getting everything ready for Singfest which's gonna be held later in the night. Stalls were set up selling like different band tees & it was way totally cool! Though this is not exactly my point now. Registered for my role at about 11.15am. Got my tag & I was D0019. There were less than 100 auditioning for the role cos' some of them retreated. Were made to do warm-up in this small, congested room. Finally, it was our turn so the whole of role D was channelled into this really spacious studio. The instructor, a male, was really graceful. Saw what he required the 'Clock mice' to do. Really adorable steps.

Then it was our turn, soldiers had to do marching. Thought I wouldn't get in initally, cos' all they did was put me to the side. At about the 3rd round all so, they finally called my number & my heart was already at my throat. I'm really elated that I've got through. Its a great opportunity to learn, & I'm gonna be breaking my very own limits :D Yay, I'm one step closer to my dream. As for those that didn't get in, its okay, there's always another try, another audition. There'll always be some place, some role meant for you. So, don't be disheartened or daunted. Simply look ahead.

I'm really thankful for all the people who kept me in their prayers, especially WeiTing whom I know prayed for me since we prayed for each other after training last Friday. I'd also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to those whom dropped me really motivating messages. I needed them :)

Actually, there are two kinds of people living in this world. One of which thinks about all the "If only" thoughts, & those who think about it but still continue to move on in life. Which life to take, its really up to one person's will. I must admit I'm really pessismetic about life. & I really hope this sickening mindset would go away. Have something in mind to concentrate & work hard on. I'm sure if you do so hard enough, anything will come to you.

Cycling again, today with Brother & Flora. We ate more than we cycled. Cos' we stopped consistently to get "slack". Took photos at the jetty but my hair was crazy, thanks to wind. Hahaha, everything was on Brother today. He's so kind.

Breathing in the air was enough to make me fly. Generally I feel that life's treating me fairly well.

I'm gonna chuck some photos here!
