I love life more than anything now :) These few days had been oh so fine :D Did door to door educating the public about phone scams. Had a wholly-fantabulos time with us knocking onto peoples' cribs & checking them out. We covered a total of 4 blocks in the area around Bedok Interchange, including Nadhira's own block :D Here's a photo I took, being really enthusiastic about taking photos.

Haha, went to get myself a haircut today which I think made me look like a mentally-challenged with physical inability person, a.k.a retard. Anyway, I'm okay with it, cos' I know hair will eventually grow. Its just a matter of how many times the minute/hour hands pivot round the clock before it reaches a pretty length. Sigh, talk less about it. What's more, my mane smells like my head just got dipped into a pot of shampoo & left there for two years.

Np was picked to usher some VIPs & some NVIPs(not very important pigs) tomorrow for some Zhengzhou round table talk thing. I think the school took it literally. Cos' all tables shifted to the tower hall were round :\ Lolz, I can't care more. Prepared gloves & boots just hope I'll remember to carry them to school tomorrow.

Hello. I've applied for a place for next Saturday's Nutcracker audition at Singapore Dance Theatre. Decided to go for the role of "Soldiers" since I'm within their height range & their minimum grade. I know it'd probably be a skinny chance of me getting a place at this performance but nevertheless it shall enrich my dance experiences. I guess ballet's not just all about practicing for every level's examinations but also partially of performances. Hopefully it'd bring a positive outcome this coming Saturday. I think I'll get more & more nervous & panic as I get closer to the audition.

Went for a short cycling session today with Mum & Dad. Well, they didn't cycle so it was only me on my own pedalling down East Coast Park with them strolling aimlessly behind me. Took this opportunity to do some reflections on life so far. Didn't get enlightened or anything. More of like trying to get myself away from the crowd. Its so great to take a breather after such a hectic week :D Finally some salty air to refresh my busy brain! Its ready for another tough week ahead!

I was having dinner with Dad one night after ballet at Loyang Point. & So I told him how far I've planned myself to go in the aspect of dancing. He told me that if school work gets to tough for me I'd have to put academic infront of dance. Which to a certain extent I agree so with him. Then, he started emptying his can of Mug into the cup & asked if I wanted some since he couldn't finish it. & I thought, since you've came to a decision of buying that can of drink, then finish it. Just like that moment I agreed with Mum to start ballet, I have to finish this road.

Kolam Tests Patience

Just completed my very very brief revision of Physics, a subject in which I have the most disgust & least control over. First of all, after my attempts to get those theoretical laws & definitions, I only figured out that I'm gonna sprout silvery grey hair very soon. That might perhaps enchance my looks a little. Lolz. I hate Physics. Maybe its time I make friends with Physics, & let doing physics problems be my solace for the time being or so. Afterwhich I might find myself developing a special aptitude for the Sciences.

Anyway, I'm just here to promote 3B's Racial Harmony Day Kolam. Not to lament about my indescribable hatred towards Physics. Kolam's a really laborious process which I can declare I almost got so pissed off I wanna kick the table. Without the help of glue to stick them permanently onto the mahjong paper, we simply poured rice on the paper & mould it to shape. But the product was amazing. Here we go:

Hello, just got back from 3 hours of ballet. Intermediate, Grade 7, then Intermediate again. So the cycle goes on every week till the final showdown - Exam. Stayed back after Grade 8 class (which was spent doing Intermediate) to join the Grade 7 class. I'm currently feeling remorseful for taking up their space for their dancework cos' we weren't suppose to be there to do their Grade 7 stuff. We were only suppose to join in when Miss Shyamala wanted us to do Intermediate. But anyhow, I hope we were a little bit of help cos' Miss Shyamala couldn't remember the Grade 7 syllabus steps anyway.

Doing the classical dance for Grade 7 was such an enlightenment. Euphoria as I danced my way through it. Felt the past flowing through me. Although I must say I forgot some of the steps. But it was good cos' once I heard the music everything came right fluid again. Can't wait for the next class. Wednesday. Gotta rush from school off to studio for self-dancing :D

I'm killing time so that it won't kill me. Party in a few minutes time. Leaving home for some fun, finally. Flirtable's really gawking. Facebook's really one avenue to rot myself to. Since I've got nothing better to do. Mum just got back from Tampines Mall. She got cheated. Sadly. She was so captivated by the lucky draw sign board which says, "Get a sushi set!" So, she queued for it after spending her money on a extravagant haircut. Ended up getting a sushi cutlery set. Not a sushi set. Thanks a lot. I was expecting sushi buffet tonight.

Preoccupied

I have a hate/love relationship with weekdays. I love em' cos I'm simply soooo preoccupied it leaves me no gap to think of other things besides school work, CCA & ballet. Yet I do not get reminded of you :) But I abhor weekdays too. It just gets so hectic & packed that's just, excruciating & painstaking. I've got a major exam breathing its musky breathe down my neck which makes me shudder whenever I think about it.

Flag party is love. Consisting of Venus (GG), Shanyi (Scouts), Joseph (NCC), Jaycelyn (GB), QiXin (BB), Peiyun (SJAB) & myself (NPCC). Had so much fun rehearsing with them slow march & also with the rifle drills :D Finally we managed to keep our timing & footsteps in sync.

Tests, tests, tests. Overflowing amounts of them. Never ending till perhaps the end of my academic years. Grah. Irritating. I love weekends. I'm sure about that.

Facebook sent me an email through Hotmail asking me why I haven't logged in for so long so I've decided to revive my Facebook account since I've lent Doongzy my account for his Friendster. I'm currently proclaimed as "anti-social" by myself since I haven't even got 30 friends. Lolz, anyway, I just started! So what's the biggy! Haha.

I'm feeling like a noob. Like Facebook's darn complicated. Goodbye, I'm off to sleep :D

There's this overwhelming blankness in my brain right now that instigates a blockage at my cranium. Had been talking a lot to Rachel, Fish & Xuanzi lately. O'level's Chinese Listening tomorrow & school lets our butts out at 11.30am which is considerably early. Total wastage of time since they can actually be more efficient in arranging the examination hall & save all the wanton waiting time.

I'm becoming so submissive to certain things it scares me. Shackleton outing soon :) National Day most probably, to Sentosa by the beach! ;D

Its seemed like a millenium since I last posted. & I'm proud to announce that this is my 301th post since the day I established this humble blog :) I can't believe I've been through so much since the year 2006. I'm quite determine to post even more in time to come.

So what's up lately, one may ask. My 93-year-old great granny past away peacefully last Wednesday. I managed to squeeze & give myself some time on Wednesday night to visit her & when I was there, she passed on in less than 10 minutes. Call myself fortunate, I got to see her breathe her very last. It was my first time ever staying beside someone by her bedside, it was really grieving. Though I was never really knitted to her or anything but her absence makes a difference in this world.

So the whole process from the resettling to the cremation was really bereaving. The Taoist priest was nonetheless really particular when it comes to funeral ettiquette. Hair has to be let down, nail polish removed & no watches/jewelleries were allowed on the body. But in conclusion, the despondency was at its peak at the crematorium. Wailings & mourns were heard everywhere. It was just depressing lah.

On a lighter note, WeiTing & Rachel finally put it across to me that it was something inevitable that people grow old & past on. Its only a matter of time. So as for now, I'm feeling less like a gloom :D Yay!

NDP Preview 2008 III

Wow, I wonder how many series of the "NDP Preview 2008" posts am I gonna have cos' there are just simply too many photos & editing them can be painstaking sometimes. But I seek solace in it, lolz, now that I adore the photos like jewels.

Stepped into Bugis with Ah Tan & WeiTing & a few other CCHS(Y) people today. Took a few snapshots & neoprints which I'd probably upload slightly later cos' I wanna finish posting the photos up for NDP :) Haha. Initially wanted to watch movie but aborted our plan cos' I was such a killjoy & had to collect my passport in the evening D: Screw. Ah Tan also went on an unsucessful search for her new haversack :\ Sigh, I guess Bugis isn't such a woo-haa place for bags but sigh, I guess we had fun digging our hearts out :D Now Ah Tan knows every little bit of us & I can seek advices from her in terms of relationship, etc in future. I'm so excited :D

I never knew I myself had so much emotions bubbling in me until I found it was only less suffocating if I vomit them out :D Cheerios to WeiTing & Ah Tan & Rachel! So meanwhile, I shall maybe ponder less on this matter & sail on forwards, since it may most probably lead my nowhere.

NDP 2008 Preview

Hopped on over to Marina Bay yesterday gripping the Green ticket WeiTing gave me for NDP Preview 08! Well, despite roaming that place alone yesterday, I felt accompanied by many fellow Singaporeans, mostly dressed in red :) Its not that lonely afterall. Got an almost perfect seat with a vivid & clear view of the jetplanes, fireworks, parade formations. The overall atmosphere was exhilarating. The fireworks are the best, I must say, after the parade. I was busy entertaining myself with the fun pack & tattoos during the performance :X. Lolz, cut the crap, I would just like to say the parade rocks my socks, box, pork. Haha, here are the photos! There are loads of them :)

I experienced the Singa Roar & Kiasu spirit. Lolz. I was enjoying the solitude too. & The stimulated President, he was spot on. Made the entire grand stand guffaw.
