Bereaved.

Its seemed like a millenium since I last posted. & I'm proud to announce that this is my 301th post since the day I established this humble blog :) I can't believe I've been through so much since the year 2006. I'm quite determine to post even more in time to come.

So what's up lately, one may ask. My 93-year-old great granny past away peacefully last Wednesday. I managed to squeeze & give myself some time on Wednesday night to visit her & when I was there, she passed on in less than 10 minutes. Call myself fortunate, I got to see her breathe her very last. It was my first time ever staying beside someone by her bedside, it was really grieving. Though I was never really knitted to her or anything but her absence makes a difference in this world.

So the whole process from the resettling to the cremation was really bereaving. The Taoist priest was nonetheless really particular when it comes to funeral ettiquette. Hair has to be let down, nail polish removed & no watches/jewelleries were allowed on the body. But in conclusion, the despondency was at its peak at the crematorium. Wailings & mourns were heard everywhere. It was just depressing lah.

On a lighter note, WeiTing & Rachel finally put it across to me that it was something inevitable that people grow old & past on. Its only a matter of time. So as for now, I'm feeling less like a gloom :D Yay!
